Tab Trade — What It Is
Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail tells you something. It means the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: FX, indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that launched in March 2026, the breadth is not narrow.
What You Trade On
Available: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Many pick one platform. Access to both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have used MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.
FIX API is offered for algo traders but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That will make the platform set when it arrives.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
This is the area where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That says what kind of broker this is.
Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
Now, the detail that matters. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, stop reading. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.
The Bonus
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You put money in, TabTrade add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before you deposit.
